Army ROTC is regarded as one of the best leadership programs in the world. Whether you plan to pursue a civilian career or serve as an Army Officer, Army ROTC prepares you with the tools, training and experiences needed to succeed in any competitive environment.
ROTC is a four-year elective curriculum centered on Army history, organization and structure, tactical operations and principles of leadership and management. Enrollment in Army ROTC is only open to full-time FIU students.
Cadets who complete the program can earn a commission as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army, Army National Guard or Army Reserve.
Army ROTC cadets have embarked on a different collegiate journey than traditional students. They’ve enhanced their FIU experience with challenging leadership labs, advanced training programs and field exercises while fostering a sense of belonging with fellow cadets.
