The Army ROTC Experience

Our cadets shared their reasons for joining Army ROTC and their experiences as members of the Southern Strike Battalion.

Being an ROTC cadet is especially rewarding due to the exceptional support and mentorship from the military student services coordinator and ROTC cadre mentors. I wholeheartedly endorse the experience of being an ROTC cadet at FIU.

[Army ROTC] has really pushed me out of my comfort zone. However, the challenges have made me more confident and spurred a lot of personal growth both mentally and physically.
